Look for the cause first
Hair loss is not the same for everyone. Two people can have the same thinning for completely different reasons, and each reason calls for a different approach.

Find your root cause
A licensed provider reviews your intake; a video or phone visit may be required depending on your treatment and Florida rules. Labs are highly recommended to uncover what is behind your hair loss.
Get your personalized plan
If treatment is appropriate, your clinician builds a plan around the likely cause and reviews it with you at each check-in. If prescribed, your medication is shipped to your door.
What your check-ins review
Hair grows in cycles, so changes, if any, are reviewed over several months. Individual results vary.
At each check-in, your clinician reviews

Frequently asked questions
Who is eligible?
Adults 18 and older located in Florida at the time of their visit. Your clinician decides whether any treatment is appropriate based on your health history.
What causes hair loss?
Hair loss has many possible causes, and more than one can be at play. Common ones include genetics and hormones (pattern hair loss), low iron or other nutrient deficiencies, thyroid problems, stress, illness, pregnancy, menopause, and some medicines. That is why we look for your root cause before choosing a treatment.
Do I need labs for hair loss treatment?
Labs are highly recommended. A blood panel can reveal underlying causes such as low iron stores, thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies, or hormone changes, which a prescription alone would not fix. If you have recent labs, you can share them with your clinician. Lab pricing is given at your consultation.
Do you treat hair loss in women?
Yes. Hair loss in women often has different causes than in men, such as iron deficiency, thyroid problems, postpartum shedding, menopause, or PCOS, so your plan is built around what your evaluation and labs show. Finasteride is not used in anyone who is pregnant or could become pregnant.
When will I see progress?
Hair grows in cycles, so progress builds gradually. Many people first notice less shedding, then fine new hairs. Your clinician reviews your progress with you at each check-in and adjusts your plan. How long you continue depends on your cause: if it is something we can correct, such as a nutritional deficiency, you may be able to stop once it is fixed; hormonal hair loss usually needs ongoing care to keep results. Individual results vary.
What is included in the $249 hair regrowth plan?
Prescription minoxidil and/or finasteride for 3 months at any dose, if your clinician determines it is appropriate, plus your personalized treatment plan. Labs are priced at your consultation, and the GHK-Cu scalp serum is its own monthly treatment.
How compounded medications work
Compounded medications are prescribed for an individual patient by a licensed clinician after a medical assessment, and prepared by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. They do not undergo FDA pre-market review or approval, and they may differ from FDA-approved drugs in effectiveness, safety and side effects. Results from clinical trials of FDA-approved medications should not be used to judge compounded medications.
Finasteride 1 mg (men) and topical minoxidil are FDA-approved for pattern hair loss. Compounded formulations, including the GHK-Cu scalp serum, are not FDA-approved.
For adults 18 and older located in Florida.
Important Safety Information
Prescription only. Treatment is prescribed only if a licensed provider determines it is medically appropriate after reviewing your health history. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Minoxidil, finasteride and compounded GHK-Cu scalp serum
Finasteride 1 mg tablets are FDA-approved to treat male pattern hair loss in men. Topical minoxidil is FDA-approved, without a prescription, for hereditary hair loss. Oral minoxidil is FDA-approved only to treat high blood pressure; low-dose oral minoxidil for hair loss is off-label. Use of finasteride in women and topical finasteride are off-label.
Compounded formulations, including compounded minoxidil or finasteride and the GHK-Cu scalp serum, are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality. GHK-Cu is not FDA-approved for any use, and evidence for hair growth is limited.
Do not use if
- Finasteride: you are pregnant or could become pregnant. Finasteride can cause birth defects in a male baby. Women who are or may become pregnant should not handle crushed or broken finasteride tablets.
- Oral minoxidil: you have pheochromocytoma (a rare adrenal tumor)
- You are allergic to minoxidil, finasteride, copper peptides, or any ingredient in the formulation
Serious warnings and precautions
- Finasteride can cause sexual side effects, including lower sex drive, trouble getting or keeping an erection, and less ejaculate. In some people these have been reported to continue after stopping the medication.
- Finasteride: tell your provider right away about new or worsening low mood, depression, or thoughts of self-harm, and about breast lumps, pain, or nipple discharge.
- Finasteride lowers PSA blood test results. Tell any provider checking your prostate that you take it. Do not donate blood while taking finasteride and for 1 month after your last dose.
- Oral minoxidil can lower blood pressure and cause dizziness, a fast heartbeat, swelling of the hands, feet, or face, or rapid weight gain from fluid. Get medical help for chest pain, shortness of breath, or fainting. Tell your provider if you have heart disease or take blood pressure medicines.
- Minoxidil (oral or topical) can cause temporary extra shedding in the first weeks and unwanted hair growth on the face or body.
Common side effects
Scalp itching, dryness, flaking, or redness (topicals); temporary shedding; unwanted facial or body hair; dizziness or swelling (oral minoxidil); sexual side effects (finasteride).
Drug interactions
- Oral minoxidil adds to the effect of other blood pressure medicines. Tell your provider about all prescription and over-the-counter medicines and supplements you take.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Finasteride must not be used during pregnancy or by anyone who could become pregnant. Minoxidil and GHK-Cu are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your provider if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
This is not a complete list of possible side effects or risks. Talk with your provider about the benefits and risks of any treatment, and tell them about all of your medical conditions and the medicines and supplements you take.
